The state of Kailash significantly improves once Parvati starts to live there. Meanwhile, Shastri's sister mocks him and his wife about their son leaving them.

Hiranyakashipu orders his soldiers to jail his son Prahlad as he has become a devotee of Lord Vishnu. Prahlad calls for Lord Vishnu as the soldiers try to beat him, Lord Vishnu comes to his rescue and frees him and other devotees from jail. Hiranyakashipu is shocked to hear about the situation at the jail, Prahlad confronts his father and tells him of being innocent.

Hiranyakashipu tells her about the person she has to kill and she wonders who he couldn't defeat? When the king answers that it is his son that she is to kill, Holika demands an explanation. In the end, Holika agrees to kill Prahlad who still doesn't abide by his father's rules and is ready to sit on a pyre with Holika.

Prahlad claims that when he was still in his mother's womb, Narad Muni saved his mother from being abducted by Lord Indra. He claims to have gained devotional training in Narad Muni's ashram. The Narsimha avatar of Narayan comes via the pillar as Hiranyakashipu prepares to slay Prahlad.
