Episode 1
After an accident at a fun run, Kirsty, 45, is rushed to Queen's. Hunter, who is 7, is in the Children's Emergency department, after he fell from a tree. 92-year-old John is in resus, struggling to breathe.
Episode 2
Mick, 74, is rushed to Queen's with suspected sepsis. Gillian, who is 61, has had a fall at a charity ball. 58-year-old Keith arrives with one of the highest heart rates the department has ever seen.
Episode 3
18-year-old Kye is rushed to Queen's after going into cardiac arrest during a football training session. Student Phoebe has hurt her nose after tripping over in a library. Tom, 30, has fractured his ankle as a passenger in a head-on car collision.
Episode 4
20-year-old Peta is rushed to A&E after being knocked unconscious coming off her motorbike. Libby, 44, has been hit in the face with a stick playing hockey. Callum, who is 21, has a badly prolapsed stoma as a result of a previous stabbing.
Episode 5
The staff at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham deal with the fallout following a spate of needle-spiking attacks in nightclubs across the city. Three female university students, all studying in Nottingham, end up in A&E after a night out.
Episode 6
Connor, 21, has crashed his motorbike into a telegraph pole and has serious leg and lung injuries. 58-year-old Lisa has come to A&E after injuring her wrist slipping in the shower. Rob, who is 69 and has paralysing locked-in syndrome, is struggling to breathe after his breathing tube became dislodged.
Episode 7
Sara, 46, is rushed in after a serious car crash. 16-year-old James has severed his finger climbing a fence, trying to retrieve a football. Simon, who is 54, fell off his bike on his way to buy a helmet.
