Episode 1
Gary invests money in an electronics company back in 1941, but his investment and business plans quickly collapses, and ultimately backfires.
Episode 2
Yvonne has her heart set on moving house, while Gary feels more inclined to move between eras. Meanwhile, in 1941, a tall dark stranger seems to have entered Phoebe's life.
Episode 3
Gary is due to appear in court after a drinking spree in 1941. He looks destined to lose his licence, his job and could well lose his wife, but she has marriage guidance in mind.
Episode 4
Gary's fictional job working for Ron may cover his trips back in time to 1941, but it's not much help when both Yvonne and Phoebe expect him for dinner on the same evening.

Yvonne is in line for a work promotion, while Gary needs to decide which life to choose. Life in 1941 is appearing increasingly more attractive.

Gary's new career as an entertainer in 1941 is taking off, as is his trade in rare wartime records and amateur dramatics in 1993, but the stress of such ventures is taking a toll.
Episode 9
Yvonne suspects that she's pregnant, while Gary accompanies Phoebe to the countryside. As Gary struggles to maintain his double life, an American airman enters the scene.

Gary has chosen to lead a double life indefinitely, but his plans are threatened when builders start demolishing his route and portal back to 1941.
